Motorola is delivering on its promises. Although its low-end device Moto G came straight out of the box with Android Jelly Bean, the company was quick enough to release Android 4.4 KitKat. And now, Motorola has won the pride to become the first company to deliver Android 5.0 Lollipop for Moto G, Moto E, and of course, Moto X.

Motorola’s reboot with Moto X had a twisted side. And that side was Moto G and Moto E. The company planned to release these ridiculously low-priced devices and yet not deprive them of the taste of latest Android versions. A lot of people believed on Motorola’s promises; which is why Moto G and Moto E are two of the most popular smartphones in its price range. And Motorola hasn’t disappointed any one of them.

The company officially announced that Android 5.0 Lollipop version will be released for Moto X 1st and 2nd generation, Moto G 1st and 2nd generation, Moto G with 4G LTE, DROID Turbo, DROID Mini, DROID Ultra, Maxx, and even the the lowest-priced Moto E. To confirm, you can see the official list of Motorola devices that are due to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop in the coming days.

While it still remains to be seen how good the performance of Android 5.0 Lollipop will be on devices like Moto G and Moto E, for the users of these smartphones, it is definitely a refreshing news knowing that your company hasn’t abandoned you. And Android users, especially on the mid-to-low end budget, are very familiar with that feel.

So, have you got yourself a Moto G, Moto X, or Moto E? You can still find the first generation of Moto G or Moto X in market at a discounted price although you’ll have to sacrifice some screen state and camera megapixel.
