A lot of people started regretting their recent purchase of smartphone after Walton Primo GH was announced. Walton is back at it again with yet another smartphone. This time, it’s Walton Primo GH+. The phone is supposed to be released on Friday, March 9. But the company has officially announced the device so we’ll walk you through what it has under the hood.
Walton Primo GH+
Walton Primo GH+ is a 3G capable smartphone powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB RAM. The phone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and features Mali 400 as Graphics Processing Unit. Its onboard storage is 4 GB which can be expanded to up to 32 GB with a microSD memory card.
Walton Primo GH+ is quite a big phone. At 5-inch display, it has a resolution of 854X480 pixels that allow full HD playback. On the camera end, it has 5 MP autofocus camera on the back and 2 MP camera on the front both of which have BSI sensors. The back camera has an LED flash and is capable of shooting full HD video.
Walton says that the new phone will come with an FM Radio app with recording capability. The phone also has a notification light which is a nice thing to have as you can see the notification light blinking in case of a new message or missed call without having to physically touch the phone. Walton Primo GH+ comes with a battery of 2200 mAh.
This phone have the basic stuff that almost all mid-range Android phones come with. It has GPS with A-GPS support, Bluetooth v4, microUSB, USB OTG support and Wireless Display Sharing.
According to Walton, the Primo GH+ has some smart gestures. You can swing to answer phone calls, shake the device to change music, and control the basic operation of the phone with your voice.
Price and Availability
Walton announced that Walton Primo GH+ will be available for purchase from Friday, May 9, 2014 onwards. And the phone will go on sale for BDT 10,590.
