The Era of Metal Design Starts with Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Alpha is not yet another name Samsung has come up with for its newest device, it’s the start of an era which will embrace the new design approach the company is taking from now on. And the big thing about the new design is that you’ll get a metal frame smartphone next time a new Samsung phone is out in the market.

And that all begins with Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

At 4.7-inch display with 720p resolution, 12-megapixel camera and 1,869 mAh battery, Samsung Galaxy Alpha isn’t necessarily a high-end phone. Depending on the location, two variant of the device will be available: An octa-core processor and a quad-core processor.

Samsung itself calls the new phone “The Evolution of Galaxy Design”, because according to The Verge, the Galaxy Alpha’s design will “trickle down and up to Samsung’s other phones.” That means you’ll be seeing the metallic framed design a lot in future Samsung phones.

The phone is set to hit the markets in September, but the pricing isn’t announced yet. It will be available in black, white, gold, and blue.

Do you like the new metallic frame design, or should we say New Design Approach of Samsung in Galaxy Alpha?
