Walton Primo’s N series has always been featuring big phones. Whether you’re comfortable with bigger-than-usual phones or not is your personal choice. But the track record shows that big phones are quite popular these days, which is why Walton’s N series featuring N1, N, and NX, has been selling well.
The new phone in the series is called Walton Primo NF. And as expected, it features a big, 6-inch display with just 854X480 pixels resolution. While the big screen might attract a lot of people, the specification of this device will scare away a lot of them. Walton Primo NF basic configuration
Like we already wrote, Walton Primo NF is a 6-inch smartphone with the resolution of 854X480 pixels. Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the phone features a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. For graphics processing, the phone packs Mali 400.
The 3G-enabled phone has a 5 MP auto-focus camera on the back and 1.3 MP camera on the front. The back camera can record 720p resolution video and has an LED flash.
Walton Primo NF has almost all other basic things that you might need including GPS, Accelerometer sensor, Light sensor, proximity sensor and a new Hall sensor.
On the plus side, the phone features a 2700 mAh battery which would really help for the battery backup of this phone. Then again, the phone comes with a 6-inch display. So the majority of the battery juice will be used up for the screen.
The price of Walton Primo NF hasn’t been announced yet, so we can’t determine whether it’s a good purchase. Specification wise, the 512 MB RAM is what puts a big negative look on our face. But if you’re short on budget, hoping that the phone’s price will be comparatively low, and you need a big screen, you might want to give it a try at any of Walton’s nationwide showrooms.
As for availability, Walton says the phone will hit the market in May, 2014. Specific date was not announced. So we’ll just have to keep our eyes open.
