Gionee Elife E7 is still extremely popular. Not just because of its superior Snapdragon 800 processor, but also the 16 MP mega shooter in the back and 8 MP camera in the front have made this an extremely great camera phone that you might want to own. But Gionee does not seem to be taking rests anytime soon. Leaked information suggests that the Chinese company may be preparing the next version of its flagship series, Gionee Elife E8.
According to unconfirmed sources, the upcoming flagship phone Gionee Elife E8 might feature a 5.7-inch display powered by 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor or a 805 chipset. Just like its predecessor, Gionee Elife E8 may also feature 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The good news is, unlike Gionee Elife E7, Gionee Elife E8 might come with Android 4.4 KitKat, the latest version.
On the camera end, Elife E8 is said to feature the same 16 MP rear and 8 MP front camera. To fuel this powerhouse, the phone will be equipped with a 2600 mAh battery.
Remember to take this information with a big grain of salt as this is completely unconfirmed and coming from unknown and unspecified sources. It’s highly unlikely that Gionee will not make its next flagship phone without making some significant upgrade to its hardware and camera end.
While you might want to wait for Gionee Elife E8 to be announced, it’s not a bad idea to buy Gionee Elife E7 right away as this phone is powerful enough for most of your smartphone needs to be fulfilled. Also the camera performance is remarkable. But then again, now that specs for the upcoming flagship is leaked, it’s understandable if you feel like waiting.
