Last week, Gionee announced its newest flagship device Gionee Elife E7 (Bangla here) with spectacular specifications. The company also noted that an octa-core edition of Gionee Elife E7 mini will pop up soon with a MediaTek processor. We now have a brief idea of what to expect from the mini edition of E7.

While the big brother sports 5.5-inch display, the Elife E7 mini is reportedly equipped with a smaller 4.7-inch 720p display.

On the processor end, Gionee Elife E7 mini sports an octa-core processor (MediaTek MT6592) clocked at 1.7 GHz. It’s worth noting that the big brother Elife E7 has two variants: Quad-core Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.2 GHz for 3G model and quad-core Qualcomm 8974AC clocked at 2.5 GHz for LTE model.

If rumors are to be believed, Gionee Elife E7 mini will have a swivel camera of 13-megapixel. It’s the type of camera that you can swing and take selfies; same as the one featured on Oppo N1 that’s expected to go on sale on December 10th.

Gionee Elife E7 mini may feature only 1 GB RAM (as opposed to 2GB on E7 16 GB storage and 3GB on E7 32 GB storage), 16 GB internal memory and 2,100 mAh battery capacity. Rumor has it that the Gionee Elife E7 mini will cost 1,800 Chinese Yuan (close to $295). But if you’re looking for Gionee Elife E7, not the mini one, then you can see the confirmed prices in our previous post about the launch.
